Time passes by like the fall of "Angle's tears" through "clean ether silently".
We have also crossed 10 years since the inception of the organization and the time passed as it were within twinkling of an eye.
Now the question is how much we could narrow down the gulf between time and space.
Even an unanswerable question this is.
What we can say in our defence is we have poured our best endeavour during this time and enjoyed a considerable displacement from the initial point.
We were able to add programmes every year looking forward to the needs of the vulnerable population of the state and towards arousing awareness among the said population so that they can abide in a neat and clean surrounding,
can earn their livelihood, can combat the threats of different ailments.

It is needless to mention that economic scarcity is a big bar on the way of getting smooth education especially in a country like India though both union and State Govt. have been trying to run schemes so that students coming from families belonging to the marginal or below poverty line may get school and higher education, but compared to the vast need, these kinds of schemes are scanty enough. Looking forward to the great importance of this issue, "South Kolkata Suchetan Udyog" has also been arranging "PROYASH"programmes since 2009.
Students coming from mostly illiterate or half literate BPL families, they get stuck even in the primary level with the studies for the lack proper guidance. Looking forward to this issue we have opened up a free non-formal school at Komarpur village of PurbaBardhamanDistrict, in the year of 2012, huge number of these popinjays are coming regularly to the center and enjoy their lessons.
Empowerment of women especially in the rural areas is one crying need of the time. It is not only for the welfare of women folk alone but this empowerment would ultimately yield a better standard of life and would enable the next generation to find sound soil beneath their feet. Thus, in order to empowerment the women folk (as many as possible) of the entire Katwa sub-division of PurbaBardhaman District, we have started a self-help project on traditional 'Katha stich' work named "Prochesta".
"Thalassaemia is a ghostly name of a disease that rouses terror and trauma. Common people especially belonging to Marginal Poverty line or below poverty line take this disease as a mortal one. But it is not the matter of fact. If proper awareness can be given to the next generation and their family members, mortality rate is sure to come down. Taking this issue into consideration we have stated holding free Thalassaemia awareness and screening camps at different Districts of the West Bengal. We are eager to hold such camps from time to time in near future.
Children coming from families where parents cannot rear up their children even providing the marginal needs. With a view to inoculating in their spirit that they are not really helpless, every year we arranged to distribute new cloths among them and set chumship with them in order to encourage them to look at the bright halo of life.

Many a mole can make a mountain. If the success of the objectives do come in reality, its greatness many be compared to a mountain. And giving out a least from the stipulated budget for our entertainment, pomp and luxury, we don't think, would put us in any strain. So why would we fasten ourselves into the dead lack of self-interest alone?
